For where two or three gather in My name, I am there in their midst
Matthew 18:20

Ekklesia Gatherings are more than meetings—they are powerful, small-group assemblies where believers step into their Kingdom authority, align with Heaven, and bring God’s will to Earth. Rooted in Jesus’ declaration in Matthew 16:18, these gatherings equip and empower you to impact your family, workplace, and community with the culture of Heaven. What is Ekklesia, and Why Does It Matter?
When Jesus used the word “ekklesia” to describe what we now call “church,” He was not referring to a religious institution but rather a governmental assembly where Roman citizens conducted business for their emperor. In the same way, when we gather as an Ekklesia, we are not just having a religious meeting—we are stepping into our Kingdom authority, bringing Heaven’s reality to Earth.
Jesus emphasized this in the Lord’s Prayer: “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10
Jesus proclaimed in Matthew 16:18 that He was building His Ekklesia—a governing body of believers. He followed up with an incredible promise: “I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” — Matthew 16:19
This reveals the power of agreement within the Ekklesia. Jesus reiterated this truth in Matthew 18:18-20, teaching that when believers come together in unity, Heaven’s agenda is established on Earth: “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in Heaven. For where two or three gather in My name, I am there in their midst.” — Matthew 18:19-20
The secret to the Ekklesia’s power is agreement, which is best cultivated in smaller groups!

How Do Ekklesia Gatherings Work?
God has uniquely gifted each of us with talents, vocations, and passions that place us in different arenas of culture. Through Ekklesia Gatherings, believers come together in small groups (typically 2-15 people) to pray, discern, and take action in their spheres of influence.
Breathe In…
When the Ekklesia gathers, we legislate Kingdom business through prayers of agreement, focusing on our nation, families, and personal assignments. As we unite in prayer, we begin to see the reality of Heaven invade our world.
Breathe Out…
But prayer isn’t where it ends. The Ekklesia is empowered to step into real-world situations and bring God’s nature, principles, and Kingdom authority into every aspect of life.
This aligns with the Seven Mountain Mandate, a concept taught by Lance Wallnau and Johnny Enlow, which identifies seven key areas of cultural influence:
1. Government – Representing the King
2. Business & Economy – Revealing the Provider
3. Arts & Entertainment – Showcasing the Creator
4. Education – Teaching Kingdom truth
5. Media & Communication – Spreading His goodness
6. Science & Medicine – Demonstrating the Healer
7. Family & Church – Reflecting the Father’s love
As the Ekklesia moves in unity, we contend for breakthroughs in each other’s lives, vocations, and spheres of influence. As a result, we begin to see the Kingdom of God manifest in tangible ways.

Can You See It?
Imagine a world where every person is governed by the King and His Kingdom—a world without murder, lying, theft, adultery, or greed, but instead filled with the righteousness, peace, and joy of God’s rule!
The Bible tells us that creation itself is longing for this transformation: “For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed… that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.” — Romans 8:19, 21
It’s time to wake up, sons and daughters of God! God is calling us to step into our assignments, carrying His government and authority to bring Heaven’s culture to Earth.

Guidelines & Practices of Ekklesia Gatherings
Ekklesia Gatherings are small, focused groups (12 or fewer) of believers called together by the Holy Spirit to conduct Kingdom business in their God-given assignments. These groups function as mobile, micro-churches, united in pressing forward and displacing the counterfeit influence of the enemy.
In biblical times, the “gates” of a city represented its places of influence. When Jesus declared that the gates of Hades would not prevail against His Ekklesia, He was saying that His people would displace and replace the enemy’s influence with the reality of Heaven.
