Gods Upgrade 2026

As we step into 2026, we're invited to embrace a powerful spiritual reality: God is offering us an upgrade. This isn't about becoming someone different—it's about expanding our capacity to carry more of His glory, presence, and purpose. The message draws us into understanding that just as a computer needs upgrades to function at peak performance, we need spiritual upgrades to fulfill the assignments God has for us. Through Romans 1:16-17, we discover that faith grows 'from faith to faith'—each step of obedience prepares us for greater things. The sermon explores three critical areas of upgrade: greater capacity for faith, a renewed mind that thinks like God thinks, and increased ability to respond quickly to His voice. What's particularly compelling is the emphasis on our heart as the central processing unit of our spiritual life. Drawing from Deuteronomy 6 and Proverbs 4, we learn that the Hebrew word 'Shema' means not just to hear, but to hear and act.
